1) What is the validity period of a ticket generated for parking ?
One ticket is valid from 12am to 11:59pm for the date of reservation.
eg: If you reserved your parking for 20th January 2018, then the ticket is valid from 12am to 11:59pm of 20th January 2018. You can park your registered vehicle as many times you want in the premises on that day between the above given time.
2) What happens if the booking for a particular day gets full ?
If the maximum number of reservations are attained for a particular day, all subscribed users will automatically get a broadcast message by Elysium by alerting them about the "Parking Full" status and notifying them to not get their vehicles to college as there won't be any space to park their vehicle. Hence it is recommended to reserve your parking at the earliest in advance because any booking done after the "Parking Full" broadcast message won't be allowed or counted as a Reservation by the system even if the user may get an email for a successful Parking Reservation .
3) What is the process of Parking Reservation ?
User will have to give Elysium some basic details of their at first and that way Elysium will guide them through the reservation process step by step. At the end the user will receive an email from Elysium as a confirmation with their ticket number. They then need to show that email to the security guard at the day of their booking at the college gate.
The security guard will then verify the ticket and will tell the user to pay INR 20/- by scanning the PayTM QR code from their phone. On the successful transaction of the fee, the guard will allow them to park their vehicle in the space that he provides to them.
